Disney inspired Artwork

2013- "Allure Series" - What I like about the Disney Princesses are their eyes. They are all unique and beautiful and seems to be able to talk to you... which is very alluring. Thus the name for this series "Allure". This series is about capturing their eyes and I hope I can achieve this.

"The Origami Series"

"The Cutesy Princesses"- After creating my Origami Series Princesses, I was told by someone that they looked too skinny and can be a bad influence. As an artist's point of view, it doesn't matter if they look skinny or curvy, as long as it is a good representation of a person, then that is good enough. But anyhow, this person has inspired me to create this new "Cutesy Princesses" piece. With this piece, I tried to bring out the positive of these figures because not everyone is created equal, and anyone can be a princess.

"The Protectors" - I always loved superhero movies, a special individual with super powers saving and protecting the world. And being inspired by Disney Princesses and Marvel Superheroes, I've decided to create a mashup of the two, my new superhero series - The Protectors.

Disney Inspired - "Zodiaque"  Series

I have always been fascinated by the Greek Mythology, and really enjoyed watching movies with stories about Greek Pantheons. I also enjoyed looking at many different artworks created for the horoscopes. So I thought why not create a series using Disney characters with a touch of Greek… I present to you my new “Zodiaque” Series.

Disney Inspired Urban Princesses - If the Disney Princess lives in modern times, this is how they might look like as i perceived them.

Luminous Art  -"Black" represents nighttime, darkness, mysterious, loneliness, enchanting, fantasy, dreamy, and romantic; so each time I tell a story through this series of drawings, I will try to keep this theme, and also get inspiration through song lyrics from the animations. The effects of this series of artwork was created by using bright and high contrast colors on dark backgrounds and they seems to be illuminating the night; thus the name for this series, “Luminous”.

Princesses Ballet Series: -

I love ballet, but unfortunately, I am not dancing material. Each time I see the ballerina's slender arm and figure, and wearing a beautiful tutu dress, I will  imagine of Disney princesses dressing up with tutu, then elegantly posing and dancing. Thus, my princess Ballet Series was created.
