What better place to pay tribute to Walt Disney than at the Walt Disney Family Museum founded by his daughter, Diane Disney Miller.  Being able to pay tribute to my idol Mr. Walt Disney at the WDFM was such an honor and unforgettable experience for me.  With the Disney fans and museum members in the audience, from the little girl rubbing the magic lamp, and everybody singing and humming to the tunes, and also emotional tears dripping from a few audiences... their Disney spirits was in full force!  I'm also grateful that my mom and sister flew 6000 miles from Malaysia just to watch this performance.  The host did a wonderful job keeping everyone smiling and laughing throughout the show and the pianist played wonderfully.  Thanks Hseoun and Khe Sin!!  Hope we can collaborate again.  Fingers crossed... :-)

_"A Tribute to Disney" was performed in front of Disney fans of all ages on June 18, 2011.  It was a night of fun and enjoyment for everyone including myself.  I am happy to say that I am honored to have been invited to perform again my show, "A Tribute to Disney", at the Walt Disney Family Museum on the afternoon of February 11, 2012.  It is my pleasure and honor to be able to pay tribute to Walt Disney and share a piece of Disney story and songs for Disney fans of all ages at the WDFM.


If you are attending the performance, please feel free to come dressed as your favorite Disney characters (costumes must be of good taste and family friendly please). Oh, also remember to practice your Disney songs!! =)

After almost a year of hard work and preparation, the show is finally over (for now).  I would like to thank everyone that came and supported me.  Hope you guys enjoyed the show as much as I did preparing for it.  I'm looking forward to future performances probably in Malaysia and Singapore late this year.  And hopefully, I may be able to perform at the Walt Disney Family Museum next year.  I will keep everyone posted!

I'm so happy and honored to be featured as Walt Disney Family Museum's Member of the Month!!  I'm just a BIG Disney fan that just felt like singing "When you wish upon a star" right now!  The Walt Disney Family Museum is such an awesome place to visit if you want to know more about Walt Disney.

In a debut performance to honor Walt Disney for all the great magic he has created for people of all ages, “A Tribute to Disney” Recital by Paulway Chew will be hosted at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music on June 18, 2011 at 7:30PM.
